Modified on Fri, 9 Jul, 2021 at 10:57 AM

  1. Hover over the file you want to share and click on the ‘Share’ button:

  2. This will bring up the following box:
     Options:

    View only direct by email

Enter an email address and click send (Add a message to the recipient if you want to)

Allows you to copy and paste a link to the file for people to click on rather than send the link directly.

    Outlook

Opens a new email message with the link pasted ready to send.

  3. When you click send, you’ll get the following pop up:

How can I decide who I share the file with?

If you want to change how the document is shared or allow people to edit, follow the steps in the previous section but click “People in Cambridge & District Citizens Advice can view” to open the permissions options:

Anyone with the link

Anyone, even outside the organisation, can use the link.

People in CCAB

Anyone with a CCAB email address can use the link.

People with existing access

People who are already using the link can continue to use the link.

Specific people

Enter the email address of specific people who can use the link.

Allow editing

This allows whoever uses the link to be able to edit the file.

Click 'Apply' when you're done.
